Through a complicated network of international horticulture I met Katrina in Christchurch and was immediately struck by her great determination to get the job done. Subsequently she turned up to help us in Sydney with no hesitation but to support us in any way that would allow us to complete an exacting project on schedule and with a great finish.

 

Katrina’s attention to detail is outstanding and her ability to read my mind and anticipate what was required was at times unnerving but I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. Indeed, we’ve already booked her in for future projects in case word gets out. She made us look good and I can’t wish for anything more.

Since first meeting in Japan some years ago, Katrina has become an indispensable part of our show garden team. Her amazingly generous and kind nature, combined with an excellent horticultural knowledge and never-ending supply of enthusiasm and energy are gifts that we all miss when she goes back home. So far away, so those annual trips mean so much to us. Not many people would give up weeks of their time to come and volunteer to work long days, seven days a week the other side of the world. We need you Katrina!
